I met Sarah and Chad for the first time at a local park, being that Covid-19 was still an ongoing issue (although at this time restrictions had lightened up a bit). Sarah's daughters Sabrina and Amelia enjoyed playing and drinking their mango fruit freezes. I learned how Chad and Sarah had their first date in the cold because of restaurants having capacity limits. When they started talking they had an instant attraction to each other. Even though Covid created an inconvenience they were able to connect as if the rest of the world faded away. It didn't take long for them to know that they were meant for each other.
Chad and Sarah wanting an intimate wedding; celebrated with close family and friends surrounding them. The rustic elegance accentuated the ease and charm of the couple.
First look with Sarah's father
Sarah's dad Daniel wanted to let his daughter know how happy he was for her and how much he loved her. So he purchased a delicate necklace with two hearts intertwined.
The box had the words...
"if fate whispers to you, "you can't withstand the storm" whisper back "I am the storm".
You are BRAVER than you believe,
STRONGER than you seem,
Smarter than you think,
and LOVED more than you know.
LOVE, DAD
We decided that he needed to present the necklace to her and place it around her neck before he gave her away to her groom, and soon-to-be husband.
So behind dark glasses, Daniel had tears in his eyes when he saw his lovely daughter for the first time in her wedding dress. The tears were matched by Sarah in a sweet moment between Father and Daughter.
He gently placed the necklace around her neck and whispered words of love in her ear.
First look, Chad and Sarah
First looks are a wonderful way to connect before the ceremony and take pressure and nerves off of a very anxious groom.
Chad and Sarah decided to do a first look for this reason. Not only did they get to embrace but also receive more images of them together without the pressure of people watching but Sarah's two daughters Amelia and Sabrina adore Chad and were so excited to run into his arms. This first look was definitely a family affair! It's so amazing to see the uniting of two people and how a family becomes complete with the saying of "I do". This day wasn't just for Chad and Sarah but for the girls as well. You can see the joy and excitement that Amelia and Sabrina radiate.
Time for prayer
Being of Christan faith Chad and Sarah wanted to make sure that before the ceremony they had time to pray and read a passage from the bible. This moment allowed for some quiet time to reflect on what this event means to them as a couple and their connection with God. They know going forward with their lives together with the importance of having Jesus at the forefront guiding them.
I do
With the red barn as their backdrop, Chad and Sarah said their "I do's" promising to love each other and care for each other always. Sarah's Uncle Fred was the officiant which made the moment even more memorable. Ending with a wonderful kiss with cheers from family and friends. Everyone excited and joyous being able to celebrate this moment with the newly married couple.
Sarah's smile says it all.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Bowe. May you live happily ever after.
